ACHIEVEMENTS:
  • Member of Haskell’s 2-mile Relay Team 1926
  • Haskell’s 2-mile Relay Team was one of the best 2-mile relay teams in the Nation. The two-mile relay team was victorious at the Illinois, Kansas, Southwest and Drake relays, setting college division records and frequently competing in the University division and winning.
  • During the mid-twenties Wallace L. Finger was consistently the power runner on Haskell Indian Schools two-mile and sprint-medley relay teams.
  • Wallace L. Finger went by the name of Wallace Yellow Horse and would alternate between lead-off and anchorman on the two-mile relay, depending on the strength of their opponents.
